About SAGE News

Read widely.
Question carefully.

A wider view of the world

SAGE News is a doorway into world affairs, public life, science and culture. We bring a small selection of reporting into the Temple so that discovery can begin here and continue at the original source. Our aim is to connect the day's developments with the people, places and decisions behind them, rather than treat every headline as an isolated event.

Daily selection from publisher news feeds. Headlines retain their original attribution and publication dates. Open each source for the full reporting; compare independent accounts and primary documents. This selection is automated and does not imply endorsement.

How to read this selection

Each card names its source, gives a publication or event date, and links to the original report. Titles and brief summaries on the Temple portal are written for SAGE; they are not copies of article text. A primary source tells us what an institution says or plans. It does not independently verify every claim that institution makes.

Triangulation means comparing evidence across independent reporting, regional perspectives and original documents. Repeated versions of the same wire report count as one reporting source, not several confirmations. Developing accounts can change; check the linked reporting for updates and distinguish reported allegations from established facts.
